ABOUT ME

Nottingham based textile artist and designer using embroidery and print to marry painterly expressive marks with intricate details to express stories relating to the natural world.

​

The foundations of my work are based on hand drawn imagery which I translate into textile outcomes whilst engaging with a slow textiles, hand-crafted ethos and passion for materials.

 

I strive to create work with meaning that engages the viewer and continually seek ways to enhance the sustainability of my practice.

​

Graduating from Nottingham Trent University with Distinction, MA Textile Design Innovation (2022) and 1st Class Honours, BA Textile Design (2021).  Currently a Graduate member of Design Nation.
